The Masters School is excited to host your team for the FAA Meet. Please take note of the below information regarding the schedule of events and other pertinent information.

Entries for the meet can be made via MileSplit: here. Please note, registration closes at 11:59 PM on 4/22.Once registration closes, only scratches will be allowed at the clerks table before the meet begins.
Meet Wide Notes:
Schools are allowed an unlimited number of entries per event. However, individual athletes are limited to 4 events, inclusive of field and running events.
The scoring for this meet is as follows:
For running events: 1st - 10 pts, 2nd - 8 pts, 3rd - 6 pts, 4th - 4 pts, 5th - 2 pts, 6th - 1pt
For relays: 1st - 10pts, 2nd - 8 pts, 3rd - 6 pts, 4th - 4 pts, 5th - 2 pts
Athletes can check-in at the clerks tent behind the officials table for running events. There will be a 1st, 2nd and final call.
A shuttle will be provided to throwers to take them up to the throwing station.
Coaches should only approach the officials table if it is an urgent matter. All other matters can and should be brought up to the meet organizers.
No jewelry is allowed to be worn.
Running Event Restrictions and Notes:
All races will be boys followed by girls.
Heats for all races run in lanes will be set up at the starting line before each race. Unless otherwise agreed to by the coaches, the first heat will be the "fastest" heat, etc.
Spikes will be allowed but please ensure they do not exceed to preserve the track.
Masters will provide fixed angle starting blocks. If you wish to use your own blocks, please feel free to bring them with you to the meet.
Athletes and coaches will not be allowed to run alongside those competing in races. Other athletes must stay 10 ft. away from runners. Coaches may be within the 10 ft. to provide feedback to competing runners.
Field Event Restrictions and Notes:
Each jumper/thrower will be allotted 4 jumps/throws.
The opening heights for the high jump will be 39 for the girls and 48 for the boys.
Athletes not competing will be asked to sit in a designated spectator section by the jumping pits. Failure to comply will result in their removal from the pits.
There will be no discus throw due to construction and safety reasons.
Additional Notes:
Lost items will be turned in to our security office. Please report any lost items to Juan Cobos: juan.cobos@mastersny.org. He will coordinate with you from there.
No food or sugary drinks are to be allowed on the infield of the turf.
Schools should set up their tents on the grass above the track, not on the turf.
Athletes should leave sweatshirts, sweatpants and other non-necessary items at their schools tents before checking in.
