Mondo Duplantis: Prodigy (FloFilms Trailer)

Armand "Mondo" Duplantis earned his nickname as a seven-year-old, when he set his first age group world record in the pole vault. Now, the 17-year-old Lafayette, Louisiana native owns world age group records for 7-, 8-, 9-, 10-, 11-, 12- and 17-year-olds.

At the Texas Relays this year, as a high school junior for Lafayette High School, his 5.90m personal best demolished the world junior record. He's also defeated 2015 world champion Shawn Barber and Rio Olympic gold medalist Thiago Braz da Silva.

The son of former pro pole vaulter and record setter Greg Duplantis will represent his mother's native Sweden at the senior level IAAF World Championships in London this summer. Oh ... and did we mention he hasn't even graduated from high school yet?
