If everything works out as planned, the seeded two mile (4:05
p.m. on Saturday) could come down to a trio of R.I. runners fighting for the
title - La Salle’s Matt Bouthillette and Jake Grundy and Bishop Hendricken’s
Tom Grizzetti. Bouthillette, who has a PB of 9:16, is the No. 1 seed. He currently
ranks No. 4 nationwide in the 3K with an 8:46. Grundy and Grizzetti are also
sub nine-minute 3K runners.
